interest in diversity of plants like Algae, Fungi, Bryophytes, Pteridophytes
and Gymnosperms.

Developing the
practical skills of identification of lower plants.

Creating
interest in industrial applications of Cryptogams, Pteridophytes and
Gymnosperms.

Paper – III: Plant Ecology
Paper – IV: Plant Taxonomy

Understanding
various aspects of ecology like ecological factors, plant communities and
succession.

Acquiring
knowledge about ecosystem and various natural cycles present in the nature.

Creating
interest in naming the plants, botanical gardens and herbarias.

Acquiring basic
knowledge about structural organization and embryological development in
plants.

biochemical, physiological mechanism in plants.

To develop
skills in practical work, experiments and laboratory materials and equipments
along with the collection and interpretation of scientific data to contribute
the science.
